1. Why is E-Tech advancing to Version 8.0 ?
E-Tech Version 8.0 will extend Ethnic Technologies lead in the Ethnic Marketing space by providing more First Names and Surnames to the tables of the already industry leading E-Tech Version 7.3. E-Tech Version 8.0 we will add over 10% more African American and 10% more Hispanic name research. E-Tech Version 8.0 will incorporate the ethnicities of Haitian and Jamaican along with clearer defined Asian group codes as part of the release. Match rates for E-Tech Version 8.0 have been higher than 96%. The E-Tech team is committed to product improvements and ongoing research.
2. How has E-Tech achieved increases in the Match Rates?
The dramatic increases in E-Tech Version 8.0 will be the results of two main efforts:
a. Names Research - Leading name research efforts have been a key strength of E-Tech for more than 30 years. E-Tech Version 8.0 will incorporates over 10% more first names and over 10% more surnames than E-Tech Version 7.3.
b. Enhanced Neighborhood Analytics (ENA) – The incorporation of ENA technology in E-Tech Version 8.0 establishes a new and unprecedented level of granularity and completeness in the Ethnic marketing industry.
3. When will E-Tech Version 8.0 be available?
E-Tech Version 8.0 will be ready November 2011for encoding or licensing.
4. Are there new variables or values available with E-Tech Version 8.0 ?
E-Tech Version 8.0 does not require major changes for E-Tech customers and is totally compatible with other Ethnic Technologies products:
a. G-Tech 3.2 – Ethnic Technologies enhanced gender identification software.
b. E-Tech Assimilation – Ethnic Technologies assimilation index scoring.
c. Canadian E-Tech – The groundbreaking Canadian Version of E-Tech.
5. Are there important changes to E-Tech 8.0 layouts or reference files?
Yes we have added 2 new ethnicities Haitian and Jamaican, and better defined our grouping codes to reflect the feedback received from our end users. We have also improved our Group Codes using the feedback received from our end users.
Ethnic Technologies' G-Tech 3.2 and Assimilation products are totally compatible with E-Tech Version 8.0. Each new and improved version of E-Tech requires the use of updated replacement reference files provided by Ethnic Technologies.
6. How do I get E-Tech 8.0 ?
* License the E-Tech system to enhance your or your clients' lists
* Rent E-Tech 8.0 enhanced lists directly from Ethnic Technologies or its list owners and managers
* Work directly with Ethnic Technologies expert staff to encode yours or your clients' lists for licensees of E-Tech 8.0. Ethnic Technologies provides assistance with system implementation and usage training for data processors and marketers.
